Class Dismissed

Malala Yousufzai is a fourteen year old girl from Pakistan .She began speaking against the Taliban in 2008 when she was eleven. I love the fact that she would do such a thing she has to really have a lot of guts to speak against a group so powerful knowing any day she can  get killed i will do the same thing if i was in her situation I Harold respect Malala Yousufzai for having such courage and wanting to get a good education no matter how hard the condition is i would really like to meet her one day she made my day i hope she survives this horrible attack and get back on track and finish defending her  home i after she survives this attack Malala and her family will be transported here to the U.S so she will not have to worry about more attacks and follow her dream be a doctor in say after she survives this attack cause she will god will make away for her to  and my prayers go out to the Yousufzai family

The whole debate was confusing to me i did not really understand it but i know they said something about taxes and schooles but thats it i really did not get the rest

Danger of a single story

What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community? Kind of like stereotyping a single story means when u look at a place and make judgments about it just by the looks with out even trying to figure out about the lives there or their culture. Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community? Like how some people say short people play soccer but they don't.I have heard allot of single stories about my community like every body on my street is useless never did anything in life but i know allot of people on my street that have their own business or athletes in college Describe a single story you have heard about another community.
